Analysis on Open Innovation and Enterprise Competitive Advantage

Abstract

This paper analyzed the closed innovation's predicament in new condition,expounded open innovation's revolutionary point,and set forth why open innovation springs up by three aspects.On the basis of value chain theory,took apart the source of enterprise competitive advantage.By this theory,analyzed in turn the relationships between enterprise competitive advantage and three effects of open innovation,dissertating roundly the mechanism how open innovation brings competitive advantage to enterprises.The results showed that open innovation possess characteristic of creating competitive advantage for enterprises.
