Abstract

The paper discusses how to get arbitrary gear tooth profile produced by a CNC hobbing machine, which only relies on the flexibility of the CNC system, using a general tool which was used to produce a standard involute gear. We offer the method of avoiding interfer, and give the equation of movement control based on CNC.
