Abstract

In this paper, a standard microstrip-based one dimension L-C transmission line artificial metamaterial is designed.Simulation indicates that electromagnetic wave with specific frequency transmitted in this kind metamaterial exhibits obviousbackward wave effect, therefore this metamaterial can be regarded as a left-handed material in this frequency band.
