University spirit is the lifeblood and soul of university.And university spirit is a kind of spiritual trait which is deposited during historical development.University spirit is a distinguished collective conscious,idea and valuable spiritual legacy.University spirit means the combination of scientific spirit and humane spirit.University spirit contains an independent,detached,critical and creative style.And university spirit also means freedom and magnanimous.But for a veriety of reasons,we are losing our university spirit.University is degenerating,losing its independence,and becoming utilitarian.University spirit coincides with the spirit of intellectuals.We should constructing mutual spirit of university and intellectuals.
