Abstract
Objective: To study the value and clinical significances of colposcopy in diagnosis of cervical disease. Methods: To analyse and summarize 3 857 cases of cervical disease with the help of colposcopy in the hospital from October,2001 to October, 2003. Results:Of all 3 857 cases,446 biopsy cases were taken, and through pathological diagnoasis.found 98 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, 21 carcinoma in situ, 12 invasive carcinoma, 299 chronic cervicitis, 16 cervical condyloma. Conclusion: Colposcopy has an important diagnostic value in finding cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, early stage of carcinoma and cervical condyloma .
