Abstract

Objective To investigate the antibiotic resistance of Staphylococcus aureus in Qingyuan area,in order to provide reference for clinical administration. Methods The sensitivity of Staphylococcus aureus to 20 antibiotics were tested by microdilution method. The results were statistically analyzed. Results The sensitivity of Staphylococcus aureus to vancomycin was the highest(100%),followed by of sensitive to cefoperazone(81.94%),imipenem(79.17%),ampicillin(77.78%),piperacillin(75.00%),cefalotin(73.61%),ceftriaxone(68.06%),rifampin(66.67%) cefotaxime(61.11%),cefuroxime(59.72%),cefodizime(56.94%),and tazobactcm(55.56%);while the sensitivity rates to oxacillin,SMZ/TMP and cefminox were all 44.44%;while to erythromycin, ceftazidime, tetracycline, clindamycin and penicillin were 41.67%,40.28%,31.94%,25.00% and 25.00% respectively. Conclusion Staphylococcus aureus is most sensitive to vancomycin, next to cefoperazone, ampicillin, piperacillin and rifampin.Drug resistance should be monitored so as to use antibiotics rationally and delaying the occurrence of drug-resistance bacteria.
