Abstract

In this article,we studied the effects of three different pruning methods on tomato single plant yield, big fruit ratio, late blight incidence, lycopene content and net photosynthetic rate. The results showed that the pruning method of one sided bearing branch possessed obvious advantages on tomato yield and quality compared with one-branch pruning method andcontinuous decapitaion pruning method, which provided a more reasonable pruning method for tomato production.
