Textual Research on Changes of Xu Xu's Thoughts in 1930s——Views on the Relationship between Liberalism Writers and Marxism

In 1936,the writer Xu Xu abandoned Marxist faith and chose to follow liberalism.It was a result of his bias on violent revolution and,moreover,historical misunderstandings.Ideas opposed by Xu Xu,such as the Stalinist political pattern,the view that equates to class nature,the thought that literature takes the side of political tools,and the single historical perception of economic determinism were the major misunderstandings of Marxism in Xu's time.Rational spirit and humanity played a dominating role in Xu's thought change.Consequently,the good relationship and disagreement between Chinese liberalism writers and modern Marxism can be perceived.
