Abstract
The method of ecological footprint was widely used to estimate sustainable development internationally in recent years.Economic activities of city's influence on resources and ecological environment are analyzed by the index of ecological footprint,which provide a basis for the developmental mode of circular economy in city.The deficiency of traditional linear economy was studied by ecological footprint in this paper,and it demonstrated circular economy is an important measure to achieve sustainable development in city.The problems of economic development in Tieling city were analyzed by ecological footprint,and it advanced the emphasis in constructing circular economic city.It has some referenced value of other cities to modify their modes of economic development.
