A Study of the Ancient Villages in Southern Anhui Tourism

Anhui Province is famous for its tourist resources, especially in the cultural aspect. The author of the present paper believes that the important potentiality of the tourism in the district of “Two Mountains and One Lake” lies in the effective exploitation of the resources of Hui Culture, because this district is the leading tourist attraction in Anhui province. A large number of well-preserved ancient villages and towns are scattered in the district. With their unique features, these villages and towns can fully and vividly display the Hui culture. The cultivation of these scenic spots will result in a brand-new pattern of dynamic, participating tourism, and it will play an exemplary role for the tourism of the whole province. The essay emphasizes the measures to be taken and probes into the development of the tourism in the ancient villages and towns of the Southern Anhui penetratingly and elaborately.
