Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinic efficacy by using the combined two different light sources in the treatment of Acne in its different stages. Methods Using the clear light photos acne therapy machine, 405-420?nm Blue-violet photo-radiation for the inflammatory pustulant acne. 15-18 minutes duration, once 3 days for 5-6 treatments. 560-1?200?nm intense pulsed light for the the post-inflammatory red discoloration stage. 15-18 minutes duration, once 3 weeks for 5-6 treatments. Results 180 cases of Acne patients were treated with the combined two different light sources. 165 cases healed completely well and 15 cases improved, All were at the effective rate of 100%. After 2 years following up, there were no recurrent in 162 cases (90%) and improved in 18 cases (10%). Conclusion The combined treatment of acne with 405-420?nm length Blue-violet light and the 560-1?200?nm intense pulsed light was safe and effective.
