Abstract
This paper lays stress on the progress in the lab-ona-chip and sums up the research status quo and developing direction in the technology and application field.Then it introduces the different microfabrication methods of the lab-on-a-chip,compares the different substrate materials and different detection means such as the optics detection,electrochemistry detection and the mass spectrum detection applied in the lab-on-a-chip technology.Finally the applications of lab-on-a-chip are mainly expounded to clinical diagnostics,environment monitoring,nucleic acid and protein analysis,and cell and ion detection.
