Abstract
A field experiment was carried out to study the effects of fertilization on yield and agronomic traits of sweet corns with Fotian No.2 sweet corn as the test materials. The results indicate that sweet corn ear length,100-seed weight was increased significantly with the increase of nitrogen phosphate and potassium fertilizer application respectively, and bald tip length shortened, resulting in the increase of yield. But the yield increased slowly when the nitrogen phosphorus and potassium fertilization increases to a certain extent, and even decreased when the fertilizer application was the highest. The regression analysis showed that nitrogen phosphorus potassium fertilizer application and yield showed a two times parabola equation significantly.Under the field fertility of this experiment, the optimum fertilization combination was:N 319.4 kg/hm2,P2O5 93.9 kg/hm2 and K2O 218.4 kg/hm2,The fresh ear yield was 18.14 t/hm2 in correction test with the theory of optimal fertilizer, increased by 24.8% compared with CK.
