Research on the Theories of Readers' Service of Academic Library in Information Era

Abstract

Based on the changes of the readers' service practice of academic library in the new era the article emphasizes the importance of initiative service of academic library and gives us some new ideas on reader's service. It puts forward some new requests of the readers' work in academic library including collection construction digitization construction and informational literacy improvement of librarians etc. Then the author sets forth the standard of judging the quality of readers' service in university library.
