Abstract

Based on the incompressible Navier-Stokes equation,the flowing problem about flow around multi-circular Cylinder was numerically simulated by Fluent software to analyze different spacing ratio among multi-circular cylinder's( ratio of the distance between the two cylindrical center and cylinder diameter) producing of different wake flow characteristic phenomena. We choose spacing ratio as a variable parameter for numerical simulation. The result of numerical simulation show: flow characteristics of the generation and fall off of cylindrical tail karman vortex street depends strongly on the distance between the cylinder and the space has critical value.
