Abstract

The myocardial apoptosis refers to a programmed cell death controlled by a series of genes,which has been demonstrated to be r closely elated to the occurrence and development of many cardiovascular diseases.Recent studies found that myocardial apoptosis exists in heart failure and apoptosis may be an important link in the pathogenesis of heart failure.This paper reviewed the pathway and regulation of apoptosis,the role of apoptosis in heart failure and the treatment for heart failure.
