Empirical Study on the Influence of Jiangsu Rural Fiance Development on Farmers' Income Structure

Based on the perspective of farmers' income source, this paper makes empirical study on the influence of Jiangsu rural finance development from 1980 to 2013 on farmers' income using canonical correlation analysis. The study result shows that the most important factor influencing farmers' wages income is rural finance development structure, while the most prominent factor influencing farmers' income from household business is rural finance development scale. The relationship between rural finance and farmers' income tends to be one-way instead of two-way interaction. At last the paper proposes some policy suggestions on the rural finance reform from persectives of increasing farmers' income from household business as well as their wages income.
