Abstract

The research trends of demulsifier for crude oil are discussed including demulsification mechanism, built demulsifier, demulsifier for highly viscous crude oil, new demulsifiers, reversed demulsifier and low temperature demelsifier. The demelsifiers serving many purposes with high effect and less dosage or with dehydration temperature at 25～35℃ or more lower are the development trends.
