Abstract
ObjectiveTo observe the expression of NF -κB mRNA,TNF-a mRNA,and IL-10 mRNA in lung tissue of rats following acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP).MethodsFifty-six Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into three groups: sham operation group(SO group),ANP model group, and Magnolol treatment group(Mag group).ANP model was prepared by retrograde infusion of 5% sodium taurocholate into the biliary pancreatic duct of rats.Gene expression in pulmonary tissue was assayed by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction.ResultsThe expression of NF-κB mRNA,TNF-a mRNA,and IL-10 mRNA in lung tissue of ANP model group increased significantly as compared with SO group(P0.01).Mag group showed a remarked decrease of NF-κB mRNA and TNF-a mRNA at 12 h after Magnolol administration(P0.05).ConclusionThe increase of NF-κB mRNA and TNF-a mRNA is evident in acute lung injury elicited by necrotizing pancreatitis and Magnolol treatment can relieve it.
