The Historical Imagination in the Writing of Countryside——On Tao Yuanming's Pastoral Poetry

Tao Yuanming's Pastoral Poetry manifests the mysterious world of drawing and chemistry,for the objects he felt are wonderful while the objects he touched are beautiful.When we study his poetry carefully,the first characteristics we can find is Tao's real emotional experience in the writing of countryside;the second is that Confucianism and Taoism not only blend with each other,but also are independent from each other in his writing of country,which surpasses the bond of both religion and combines the Confucianism and Taoism,and thus reaches the very clear world: the perfect combination of the wonder from myriad beings and the mystery from the poet's heart;the third is that residing in the farm and traveling in the ancient time in his writing make his poetry possess both ideal and historical significances.Therefore,it is this multiple repetitive atmosphere that forms the abundant connotation of withered outside but oily inside,seemly simple but actually beautiful,and builds the unique art style of Tao's poetry.
