Abstract
おhe paper presents the study of lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) on the HL1M tokamak.During LHCD particle confinement was improved and the MHD disturbances were suppressed completely. In the case of high density, the plasma was heated greatly by the lower hybrid wave (LHW). Analysis shows that mechanism of improvement of particle confinement links to the redistribution of radial electric field while LHW heating of ions is related to the parametric decay instability (PDI).
