The history of aluminum foil in the world was introduced.The setup ways of aluminum rollng mills are showed.The year1905can be regarded as the beginning of modern aluminium foil production.Foil is generally considered to cover thicknesses from6to60microns;thin sheet from60to200microns.Today rolling speeds have reached2500m/min-and max.foil width is about2150mm.Coil weithts have reached6kg/mm of foil width.The usual miniumum foil gauge is0.00635mm.The production of foil in2002is some2250kt.
