Effects of sanqizongzaodai on expression of NF -κB in perihematomal regions of rats brain

Abstract

Objective To study the influence of sanqizongzaodai on the expression of NF-κB in the perihematoma regions of rats brain.Methods Sixty-four Sprague Dawley male rats were randomly divided into normal group(A),pseudo-operation group (B),model group (C)and sanqizongzaodai treatment group (D).ICH models of rats were induced by injection of VⅡtype collagenase into the right globas pallidus. The brain tissue specimen in each group were gathered at 6,24,48and 96h after operation,respectively. The expression of NF-κB P65 in rat brain after ICH was detected with immunohistochemistry method,and at the same time the moisure in brain tissue was measured. Results Compared with group A and group B ,the expression of NF-κBP65 and moisture in brain tissue in group C were obviously increased ( P0.01). Compared with group C ,the expression of NF-κB P65 and moisture in brain tissue in group D were obviously decreased.Conclusion Sanqizongzaodai can reduce the expression of NF–κB in rat after ICH,which may be related with its anti- edema effect following ICH.
