Abstract
The great difference was found between conventional PET and SiO2 modified PET in cold crystal-lization temperature,hot crystallization temperature,and crystallinity.The different spinning technique was used for modified PET when producing industrial fiber with high tenacity and low elongation.The test re-sult showed that multiple step draw in low speed and good heat setting were adopted for high performance industrial yarn from modified PET.
