Abstract
The torque characteristic and control methods of switched reluctance motor are analyzed in this paper.In order to reduce the torque ripple and simplify the algorithm,the theory and the implementation method of direct torque control based on the position of rotor for switched reluctance motor are presented by borrowing the idea from the common direct torque control for switched reluctance motor.The algorithm of direct torque control based on the position of rotor for switched reluctance motor is simple,and the simulation result show that the method can effectively reduce the torque ripple.
