Security-A Study of the Conceptual History

Security is a key concept in international relations theory. The purpose of this article is to discuss the origin and development of the security concept, as well as the theoretical implications of this development and change. Over the past three decades, people have tried to develop the security concept by adding adjectives to For instance, while comprehensive connotes that security is all-round and involves various fields, common means to share security with your perceived competitor or rival. While cooperative epitomizes the means to security as a goal, human emphasizes a subject of building security. Those terms and ideas, plus China's new conception of security, all strive to go beyond security dilemma and to enter into a state of security and to achieve a type of survival.
