Abstract

Ji An who lived in the period of the reign of Emperor Jing to Emperor Wu in the Han dynasty.His idea reflected the transformation process of ruling ideology from Huang-Lao Tzu to Confucianism in this period.On the political governance methods,Ji An advocated Huang-Lao Tzu,governing by Non-Intervention,and received effective results;as a minister,he adhered to Confucian doctrine,being loyal to the Monarch,and was respected by Emperor Wu.Because of his devoted attitude,he was appreciated by Emperor Wu,on the other hand the Emperor estranged and kept him away for his upright character.
