Shrub community characteristics of semi-arid windy area in the Northwest of Liaoning

In this study,the shrub community was investigated,and the community composition,quantitative features of the community structure and population distribution pattern were analyzed.The results showed the community species richness was low;The pant species had the north temperate nature,which was same to local semi-arid temperate monsoon temperate climate;On quantity,herbaceous layer was dominated,with the basic characteristics of meadow grassland;The ground buds was the main life form;Community vertical structure were shrub layer and herb layer only;species diversity was low,and the distribution was not uniform;The dominant species were clustered.The investigation of shrub community composition,structure and population distribution pattern would provide scientific reference for further research and vegetation restoration.
