An Empirical Study on the Segmentation in China's Academic Labor Market

Based on a theoretical and empirical review of segmentation in academic labor market,this paper conducts an empirical study on China's academic labor market with data from a national survey,in a bid to know whether there is certain degree of segmentation in China's academic labor market and what kind of faculty members belong to primary or secondary academic labor market.The study will be helpful for us to analyze the sources of faculty salary differences from the perspective of academic labor market structure.
