Abstract

Following the Shanmen silver deposit, Siping, Jilin Province, the Xilin silver and polymetallic ore deposit is an other important discovery. The ore deposit belongs to shear belt type, tectonic activity, ore-forming process and wall-rock alteration in the mining area are simultaneous and interaction. The ore body is strictly controlled by the fractures and without relation with the lithologic character.
