Abstract
The basic principal of electrokinetic remediation was introduced in detail,including electroosmosis,electromigration,diffusion,electrophoresis and electrode reaction.The major influencing factors of electrokinetic technique for heavy metals in sludge were analyzed,including the composition of electrolyte and pH values,sludge properties,the chemistry properties and forms of element,voltage,current and electrode.The possibility of electrokinetic technique for heavy metals in sludge was discussed,and it looked forward to the prospect of the electrokinetic technique for heavy metals in sludge.
