Study on Personal Information Service of University Libraries under Internet Environment

Personal information service is an inevitable choice facing libraries under the background of increasingly rapid progress of internet technologies. This dissertation views the issue through the angle of university libraries, and, based on characteristics of university libraries, introduces the methods of personal service offered by university libraries, strengthens the necessity to promote personal service and analyzes the present situation and relevant problems. And some suggestions are also provided for the development of personal service of university libraries.
