The present situation and tendency of precision agriculture in China

Abstract

This paper provides a brief overview of precision agriculture. The authors introduce the system of technology about precision agriculture: Global Positioning System(GPS), Global Positioning System(GIS), Remote Sensing(RS), precise response to fine-scale variation using Variable Rate Technology (VRT)and the ability to review all management decision. The paper provides the present situation of the wrold precision agriculture. In this paper, emphasis is the current situation of precision agriculture in China. The authors point out the strategies of development about precision agriculture in China
