Abstract
The paper presents a design for the microenvironment humidistat system that uses Modbus as the communication protocol via the RS-485 network.The system design guarantees the reliable communication inner the system and makes it possible that the whole system and each unit of the system can connect with other intelligent devices which accords with the Modbus protocol.Also,the connection between the system and the supervisor computer as well as the receiving method of Modbus message frame in PC is shown in the paper.
