Abstract
In view of the geological conditions of 15#coal seam of a mine,we propose the mining technology of gob-side entry driving to remain small coal pillar. We use theoretical analysis to determine the width of coal pillar, and use FLAC3 Dsoftware to stimulate the stress and displacement field of coal pillar under different conditions of coal pillar width. By the contrastive analysis of the stress, strain and displacement of the coal pillar and roadway surrounding rock,we identify a reasonable width of the coal seam, and obtain a more favorable technical and economic result.
