Abstract
In this paper, the time and space distributive regularity of meso-scale storm in five selected typhoons which landed at Fujian from 1996 to 1998 has been analyzed. And from the every-hour digitized satellite infrared photographs, the features of the meso-scale. Convective system is studied when it broke out and developed. It indicates that the intensity of the meso-scale storm is quietly connected with the temperature and the area of the coldest-cloud cluster. The heavy rainfall usually emerged on the eastern side of the meso-scale convective cloud cluster where the cloud mass is developing and with a dense gradient and big curvature of isoline of the cloud top temperature.
