Abstract

Serum ferritin was measured in 225 patients with malignant tumours. The results showed that serum ferritin level has increased in 60%of cases. The correlation of serum ferritin level and treatment in 68 cases was observed dynamically. It was shown, that serum ferritin decreased after treatment. In addition, serum ferritin level rised with the tumour growth, and decreased with the regression of the tumours.
