Abstract
Several main indexes on assessing sustainable utilization of regional water resources were summarized, and three-demarcation method was used to determine the importance of each index.A mathematical model based on fuzzy mathematics theory was established for qualitative and quantitative evaluation of sustainable development of regional water resources.Taking Zhangjiagang City of Jiangsu Province as an example, the present situation of water resources was evaluated and some conclusions were drawn.
