Abstract
Video cameras technology is carried out at Pingleyuan south intersection with speed hump to collect the change of operating speed.The relationship between speed and intersection interval is established by Lagrange's interpolation method.The statistically significant result of vehicle operating speed and intersection interval is analysed by Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) method to discuss the speed reduction effect of intersection speed hump on urban road.The result shows that(1) on urban road with intersection speed hump,the speed of vehicles decreased by 42.87%,and intersection interval has a significant effect on speed;(2) the distance of vehicle speed beginning to decrease is 16 m from intersection stopping bar,vehicle speed changed significantly before 3.5 m away from the stopping bar,the significant level is 0.01,lower than criterion signficant level(α=0.05).
