Influence of coal quality and type variations on coal handling systems

Abstract

The coal quality and type not only affect the boiler combustion,unit operation,and energy consumption for power generation in power plants,but also has direct relation with the coal handing system.The influence of coal characteristic indices such as caloricity,ash content,and water content on the coal handling system is discussed in the aspects of economy and reliability.
