Abstract
The KMF-1017 high-power microwave tube, as a kind of vacuum electronic device designed domestically,has a pulse power up to 20MW and air pressure 5×10-7Pa within the tube. If there is a defect found in the tube in application, the tube must be dismantled and opened to repair. But repairing such a tube has to cost some dozens thousand RMB Yuan, which causes considerable economic loss. So, a method is proposed and discussed to readjust the interior parameters of the tube without dismantling it for repairs, ie., restore the performance of the tube outside the tube without damage to original vacuum system.
