Swamp in the A-Rong Banner of Inner Mongolia and Its Reclamation,Conservation and Utilization

The A-Rong Banner of Inner Mongolia owns of 1020.8km~(2)swamp,however,more than 18.37% of them had been reclaimed.On the basis of the introduction to the forms and basic features of swamp in this Banner from the aspects of climate,landforms and ecology,this research analyzes the present status of reclaimed swamp,and comparative analysis between present swamp and results of the 2nd soil investigation in 1982 are carried out.The results show that the reclamation of swamp influences the regional ecosystem seriously.some suggestions for of the conservation and equitable use are provided in this paper.
