Abstract

Objective:To study clinical features of aging diabetes complicated with cerebral infarction. Methods:A retrospective analysis of the clinical material from 54 cases of eldely diabefes complicated with cerebral infarction carried out contrasting with 130 cases of cerebral infarction. Results:In aging diabetes complicated with cerebral infarction, complicated heperlension, heperlipemia and heperviscosity were higher than those in the control group. The mortolity was significantly higher than that of the control group( P 0 01).The level of blood glucose was related with prognosis. Conclusions:It is important to control blood glucose, blood lipids, blood viscosity and blood pressure for prevention and treatment of cerebral infarction.
