Abstract

The humor has always existed in ancient China's literature works.The humor in Xin Qiji's ci-poems is both an off-beat presentation of the artistic style of the ci-poem and a display of his unique philosophy as a scholar.The humor is Xin Qiji's self-adjustment of his pathos life;is his need for self-actualization;is the development of cynical spirit by scholars of various generations. The humor in Xin Qiji's works is his sword of wisdom influenced by general aesthetical mood of taking vulgarity as elegance in Song Dynasty.
