An Initial Survey of the Amphibians and Reptiles in Tiantong Forest Park of Ningbo

Fifteen species of amphibians, thirty species of reptiles were recorded in Tiantong Forest Park of Ningbo from 1994 to 2000. They are respectively subordinated to six families, two orders and eight families, three orders and six familis. Among these, Oriental species are 80 %, Palaearctic species are 20 % in amphibians. They take up 76. 7 % and 23.3% in reptiles respectively. The composition of fauna of the amphibians and reptiles in Tiantong Forest Park are also studied. A character of south to north shift is shown.
