Abstract

Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and the diagnostic value of colposcopy. Methods Clinicopathologic data of 263 patients with CIN were retrospectively analyzed. Results The patients aged 30~49 years accounted for 80.6% of all cases.CIN was lack of typical clinical manifestation.Acetowhitening epithelium was most common in colposcopic examination, and its thickness was correlated with CIN grading(P0.01).The sensitivity and specificity of colposcopy for CIN were 87.09% and 59.55%,respectively,but the specificity for Grade II and III of CIN was 93.6%.Conclusion Acetowhitening epithelium is important for diagnosing CIN.Multiple biopsies under colposcopy can improve the detection rate of CIN.
