Abstract
AJAX is the Pop Web technology for the Client,it provides an asynchronous programming model for building high interactive and response application by using JavaScript and DHTML,which give the user a better experience.JavaServer Faces(JSF) is a new Java framework for building Web application user interfaces which established by SUN.JSF provides a new way to create UI with its UI component model, which makes the development become more easily.Although JSF has many advantages, but the representation ability of it not very well, fortunately,AJAX can reinforce the representation ability of JSF,at the same time,JSF can provide a perfect framework for AJAX application, this paper discusses how to develop Web application based on JSF and AJAX.
