Abstract
In order to reduce noise radiation of a diesel engine of a vehicle,According to the standard of GB/T 16404-1996,the sound intensity measurement is carried out on the diesel engine in a semianechoic chamber.Drew the sound intensity contour map of the engine, got the noise distribution for the engine, and located the noise sources. This research shows that the oil pan, pulley, spray fuel pump, turbocharger are the main noise resources, and analyzed the noise radiation characteristic of the part of the main noise source,we also computed the acoustic power lever of the main noise source. On this base, the experimentation supply significant references to reduce the engine's noise level.
