Abstract
Objective Introduce a modified Marsland staining technique with LFB double staining method and its application. Methods The two different components of nervous tissue were showed in one paraffin section slide staining with 10% silver nitrate and 0.2% Luxol fast blue solution. Results Nerve fibers were stained in black.Neurons, axon and dendritic spine were black or purple and black in color. Then myelin sheath showed fresh blue in color. Conclusion The modified Marsland staining technique with LFB double staining method made the Nerve fibers stained in black and the myelin sheath stained in fresh blue. These two colors were in obvious contrast and clearly background.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
