Abstract
The production and development of popular music has its own rule.With the rapid development of scientific technology today,the requirement of people's understanding towards popular music is gradually increasing.Music people also begin to innovate continually,adding different music elements in music.Popular music elements include Chinese elements with traditional meaning,having classical style of European classical music elements and Chinese national essence Beijing opera elements.The variety of music elements in popular music shows that the popular music in our country has its own unique feature.Through the discussion of popular music' concept,characteristics and development,it analyzes the variety of music element in popular music,hoping to have updated knowledge of pop music,which can help the learning and teaching of popular music.
